Carving
Stages in a carving

There are many stages to stop and study in a successful carving. This photo shows the 4 main stages. Upper right, is a piece of rough citrine. Upper left is a piece of citrine that has been preformed and is ready to carve. Lower left is a citrine that has been preformed and carved, and is ready for sanding and polishing. Lower right, is a finished citrine, fully polished and ready to be set into a piece of jewelry.
