The act of carving is often similar to that of meditation. With that as an inspiration, the first series of printed products was born. The meditative qualities inherent in the imagery are due to the combination of patterns and color. Each of the pieces in this series is a specific color study. These colors reflect the idea of the body's chakras, as understood in the practice of yoga. We are presenting the seven colors associated with the chakras, as well as one more image inspired by the idea of Nirvana.
These items are museum quality photographs, printed on your choice of a standard finish, printed on regular photographic paper or a superior finish, printed on metallic photographic paper. The metallic paper gives an almost 3D-like quality to the images. Each photograph is 16" x 20" and has no border. We suggest that you frame them as you would a high-quality art piece and include a mat since it's detrimental for a photograph to be touching the glass when framed. These items can be ordered separately or as a set of the entire collection. more »
You will find, integrated into the bottom of these images, a strip of solid color (coordinating with the photo) that contains the title of the piece, the type of stone carved, the name of the carver, and the name of the photographer. The text is placed so that you can mat the print either to show this information or to cover it up.
